How it works:

An interactive popup experience that gamifies building and finding community. Each game gets you closer to discovering a new community of common and diverse interests.

Showing up at trade events, fairs and festivals frequented by our demographic (ex. AfroPunk, Nationwide Day Parties, Black Caucus events, AfroTech, etc.) the Find Your Tribe experience will introduce new users to the app by matching them with unexpected partners through publicly available social data. These will develop into organic communities that challenge new ideas and perspectives online and IRL.

All new users get access to the “WeOut” feature. WeOut is a digital assistant that rewards people for not flaking out of plans. When you sign up, you sign up as a team to attend future events together (vacations, meetups etc,). The longer each team member stays in, the more perks the group as a whole will have on the trip. SomewhereGood would partner with resorts, Airbnb, cruise lines, to offer discounts and bonuses for the group with the least people to have dropped out.
