Giving New Yorkers a Wallabee that represents part of their identity

Design

• Muted gray Wallabee with colored piping (to reflect different subway routes) and 3M reflective threading. Reflective “specs” in sole.

• Insole would have a subway map, tag would say “The next stop is…”

• NFC chip planted in the leather tags, removing the need to swipe MetroCard

• Shoebox would be stylized as a NYC MetroCard

Experiential

• Launch different executions in different boroughs. Model available would reflect the piping of the subway route at that location.

• Create fake metrocard machines where commuters would have an opportunity to buy the shoe.

• Utilize Showtime performers to offer free pairs to commuters who donate to them

• Subway worker’s booths can be turned into pop up shops for the shoes
